Default New To Grants Pass, Oregon

Hello All! We have just recently moved to Grants Pass, Oregon from Riverside, California and are looking to either join or start a PT Cruiser Car Club in our area. I am also looking for car show events that are accepting of the PT Cruiser cause a few of my Calif friends (15-20) want to cruise on up here next year 2009 for a car show and to have some fun, so anything you can do to help me in that direction would be greatly appreciated.

I have been around the PT Cruiser scene for some time now, especially in California, but really want to get something going up here in Southern Oregon. So, thanks for any help you can send my way!

I think there are lots of PT Cruisers around town. You might try the local web site I Love Grants Pass.com and see if there are other local people interested in forming up a group with you. Good luck!

Thank you and yes, there are lots of them around town and I know there used to be a Rogue Valley PT Cruiser car club, but they have disbanded. So, hopefully, I can get some interest going again!

Hello and welcome to Oregon .. you are correct about the Rogue Valley Cruiser Club, I have not heard from them in a long time now. I hope you are able to get a club started down that way again. There is a car show going on this Friday (9/19) in Lincoln City at Chinook Winds Casino that is open to all PT Cruisers. Also our club is going to be back in your area next year for our 2009 Vacation Cruise. We are going to Crater Lake then spend the night in Shady Cove and then cruise over to Gold Beach for the Jet Boats and then up the coast line to ride the Dune Buggy in Florence. You and any California people are welcome to join us if you are interested. You can check out our website here in Portland Welcome to TVCC or send me an email at zzrain. You are welcome anytime to join us on any of our events. maybe we can get together and put something together as a group.

Happy Cruisin !!
Hope to meet you soon.
ZZ

Thanks ZZRAIN, appreciate that and we will keep in mind the events that are going on up in your area. I have the phone # to the previous director of the old club down here and I am in hopes of getting some folks together to see if there is even any interest in starting something up again.

Was in hopes of being able to join in the car show at the Elk's Lodge here in GP, but from what I am understanding, there isn't going to be a show this next year, so am looking for another venue so that the California folks can cruise on up here as there is a lot of interest from them in doing that. I want to do the car show, then perhaps take the jet boat ride for the dinner cruise, maybe some wineries to tour, things like that. So any help or direction you can give me would be appreciated.

Have any of your group cruised to the River Run in Laughlin, NV? This is something I have done every year and even though we are up here now, it is something I am planning on doing again in 2009. So if there is an interest, let me know that as well, and we can all cruise in there together.

Thanks again! Sharon
