Default Looking for good dealer for maintanence!

Hello,
I'm a first time poster here. Just got my new 04 GT Turbo for Christmas. I live in Seattle WA and am wondering if folks here have anything good or bad to say regarding local Chrysler dealerships, particularly regarding bringing the PT in for maintenence. I got my cruiser through a broker who bought it from a dealer in Burlington, but that is a bit far to drive for maintenance, etc. Thanks for any replies!

Welcome to the forum, Curruzr--great place to get information and share ideas about PT Cruisers. Enjoy your new 2004 GT--it's one great turbo car! [8)]
I recommend Eastside Chrysler-Jeep, Bellevue (http://www.eastsidecj.com/) as a good dealership to do business with (Phone: 1-800-233-4294). From my experience during the past ten months I have found their Sales, Parts, and Service Departments to be excellent. IMO, they are a [u]real Five-Star Dealership</u>. I drive down from the Stanwood area to get my GT serviced there and it is well worth the trip. My wife also takes her Jeep there and is happy with the service . The Service Manager's name is Terry McCoy. Go in and talk to him, check out the dealership, and see what you think. Tell him that Gary (Seamist Green GT) from Stanwood sent you. Should you decide to take your car there for service then I would also recommend you request that Greg Sherman (Red Group) be your Service Advisor.

Good luck in your "dealership shopping" as finding a good one that you can depend on to do quality work is sometimes difficult. If you have questions feel free to e-mail me.

Thanks, Gary!
that is a long trip from Stanwood, particularly with a dealer in Burlington, Everett and Seattle between the one in Bellevue... high praise!

I suggest Mathewsons in Renton. Although it's not a Chrylser dealer, and a long drive for you, it's one of the best shops around. They do a lot of hot rod work and they come highly recommded. They have basically taken care of my 2001 since new. Their shop rate is $70 per hour and well worth it. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions. 206-683-2218.

Jerry

I get both of my Chryslers serviced at Town and Country Chrysler Jeep, Silver team, Jeff Birchmier. They are located in north Seattle at 13733 Aurora Ave North, 206-365-3530. I go there partly because they are close but I have had no issues with them, so far so good. Unlike Gary, who has had major issues with the car and the dealer stood by him and treated him right.
By the way, I would like to extend an invitation to join, or at least come and visit, our PT club, Puget Sound Cruisers, a fun group. For more information see our website @ WWW.pugetsoundcruisers.org .
Good Luck !!!

This appears to be the standard rate charged by most DC dealerships in the Puget Sound area including Eastside Chrysler-Jeep.

Like KMB60 indicated--"...Gary, who has had major issues with the car and the dealer stood by him and treated him right..."--I certainly was [u]treated right by Eastside Chrysler-Jeep</u> and based on my experience I would give them "Six-Stars". The real test of the quality of customer service at a car dealership is when you have a potentially serious engine problem like I did. Read this thread to learn of my experience: http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...?TOPIC_ID=3426

Like, KMB60, I'm also a member of PSC (www.pugetsoundcruisers.org) and would encourage others in the area to consider joining this friendly and active PT Cruiser Club [8D] that presently has 43 cars and more than 80 members. Check out the PSC Photo Gallery on the PTCC Website: http://www.ptcruiserclub.org/galleri...6/gallery1.htm
