Default RNCRUZR's PT Cruiser has died

On your suggestion will post elsewhere. Sorry title upsets you all out there beyond The Rockies. Does not seem I can change it so thanks for the tips and good luck with your cars!

(Title changed for clarity 7.21.15)

A general location would be good. By the way you can't bend anything for a slipped belt. Unless you over heated it and warped the head. Your looking a about $1500 and down. to repair.

Sheesh! I read the title and thought another member has passed way.

Wish we could change the title.

We are near SeaTac airport.
Engine has no compression, and it's just not worth the cost of diagnostics and replacement of a timing belt kit. We have 6 other cars that need more attention and our need for this car has come and gone.....

We would hate to see it junked...if you know anyone that wants a project car holler here.
Here is a long story behind all this.
FYI
All Season Michelin HydroEdge radials on sport edition wheels are avail. 205/55/16 wheels are 16x7.5/5-100/ET35/silver.. Lugs n locks included
K&N CAI
Factory fogs with harness...no multi-switch (another story)
Extra Driver seat recline stuck at neutral good electrics

Trying to load some photos but we be cyber-lame
Thanks

We are throwing this out to the local PT community as it's difficult to just "junk" this cool car.

2001 LE /auto, air , roof rack, silver with Weimaraner color leather , lots of power options.
Approx 118K on chassis, and about 58k on engine #5

Oh did that catch your attention? Yes......engine #5
A LONGGGGGGG and sorry story....no time here....write for details.

It has some wrinkle on the right front fender and a tear on right front bumper.

We have an extra driver seat, good power but recline is fixed at neutral
We have an extra fog light kit sans multi switch.

Currently on 205/55/16 studded snow tires mounted on stock chrome 5 Spokes
Non studded Michelins on aftermarket wheels available.

Shocks are pretty new.

Overall....it's a good parts car or a good project car for the PT enthusiast, young mechanic wanting the challenge or......someone who wants to set a car right after an interesting history.
We would invest but the other 6 Cars in the stable say.."Hey...it's our turn!

Accepting offers...somewhere above junkyard rates.
We are near SeaTac airport.
We will post some info on Craigslist. Expect to sell the no stud tire wheel combo and the K&N intake as well fogs separate. Of course a package deal is available.
Hope somebody can carry this car into a deserving future.
Thanks

You might want to start a new thread in: Marketplace > Classifieds: For Sale/Trade, you may get more lookers as the title on this thread is a little misleading.
