Default New 05 GT Convertible Wheels
I noticed several new GT Convertibles with old style Chrome wheels. I checked my 05 sale book and they aren't offered. Anybody know what is up? Did Chrysler run out of the corredt ones?

My '05 GT HO conv't. (manu in June of '04), has "old style" wheels and I am glad that it does!

FYI...
The 2005 GT Convertible 'star' wheels are the ONLY GT wheel that was ever 17x7". You could ONLY get it on the 05 vert.
A 2005 GT Sedan had 17x6" and was the original 'old style' GT wheel as was on the 03 & 04 GTs.

The 2006 & 2007 GT Convertible AND Sedan both have the 15 spoke 'plastic' overlay wheel which is 17x6".

In my opinion the 2005 GT CONVERTIBLE 'star' wheel was the best looking wheel ever on the Cruisers plus it was 17x7" instead of the skinny 17x6's.
I was lucky and found a set for my 2003 GT.

I don't have the 7" wheels on my '05 GT wagon, but I wish I did. Anyone who owns a GT knows that you really need a wider wheel and tire when taking off from a dead stop at WOT without the traction control on.

The 17"x7" wheel ONLY came on the 2005 GT CONVERTIBLE
