I was on his bumper up to about 100 MPH when we both let up. My guess is my GT would probably start to run of wind anyway as this car was really designed as a great 1/4 performance car. It would be interesting to know what the power to weight ratio is on my PTGT and the Dodge Magnum Hemi. My GT NEVER ceases to amaze me. I love it. I guess that's why I'm inquiring about the Stage 1 setup.

Thanks for the response. Your run with the Hemi was noteworthy, but certainly wouldn't have been the same outcome from a standstill. But I agree, driving the PT GT is just plain bad-ass! It's is fun to "dog it" to about 15 mph then go WOT.....just a few cars can keep up! Bested a Porsche Boxter last night.... The look on the driver's face was priceless! Don't know if I'll sell this PT next September at lease-end like I did with my '03 PT GT. Or keep it, as I should have done with my '65 426 Hemi.....

Granted the power to weight is interesting, but I'd still have to think the torque and RWD configuration of the Hemi (as in the case of your 'Vette) would rule the day off the line against the FWD PT GT HO.......... Have you ever run your two autos off against each other or against the clock, Bados?
P.S. We have gotten a bit off the original subject, but this discussion is interesting and helpful to me! .
