Roof alignment problems

I am new to this forum and have never had a PT Cruiser, although I rented one.

I have one on order.

I put my name on the dealer's waiting list (limited to 5)in November. In mid-December, he called to say that the computer was accecpting orders, and to discuss options. He has promised not to charge over MSRP.

My order is for a Turbo GT, Electric Blue with black top and light colored interior (not sure if it will be light grey or tan), heated seats and the automatic transmission (bad left knee). I did not go for the chrome wheels or any stereo upgrade (because I have lots of unread books on cassette tapes and want the cassette player).

No idea when it will arrive other than sometime in the spring.

zoning, the light colored interiors are called "taupe". It's between grey and tan....both but neither. Designed to go with any color.

Thanks all for the advice. The hood struts look great.

As to the interior color, I think "taupe" is right. The Chrysler web site now has some photos of different parts of the car (in addition to the Flash animation)and there is a close up of the roll bar (basket handle?)in what I think is Electric Blue and a (probably) taupe interior. If that's what mine will look like, I am happy. Too bad I couldn't get a taupe top too.
