I don't really care if the price for the convertible is $10K...the car is BUTT UGLY! The nice lines of the PT are completely gone! Why not get a VW Thing Convertible?!?!?!

The local dealer (NOT who I bought from because they wouldn't be price competitive) has a white GT conv. on the lot with a sticker at 29k. It was the first time I'd seen one 'live" - with the top up, the contours are clunky - I wasn't impressed.

Hey TX Lady J, good deal on the price. I ordered mine on 1/8 and paid MSRP which I thought was fairly good.

I got the GT, Dark metalic grey, grey leather interior, 6 CD changer and the chrome wheels, 29,055 here in sunny California plus tax and licence.

I hope to get it sometime in March, just in time for the spring weather.

My old 2001 then becomes the delivery vehicle for my store.

I agree with ZZCruzr, the style line is cut short by the soft top. The convertable only looks good with the top down. Might be a good summer car.
