Yep, I got one, too. Bought mine about three weeks ago. The only other color I considered was stone white, which they didn't have, and I wanted it in a base model, which they couldn't find in a 300 mile radius. I would have repainted part of it anyway, but there's just something about a

For anyone in the MD/DC/PA area, as far as I saw last week, there was a black, base model PT Convertible at Heritage Chrysler. Just did an inventory search and it's still there. Here's the sticker:

Ok, apparently the sticker link aon't a-workin, sorry, just do an inventory search on their site!

Heres a link to their site:

If you do a new vehicle inventory search, you'll see it.
By the way, they are on Harford Road in Baltimore, MD. That's where I got my 2004 GT, very nice people to deal with. Can't vouch for the service people yet, as I haven't needed any....

How come "The People" in the First Amendment means The People; "the People" in the Fourth Amendment means The People; but "the People" in the Second Amendment (ratified in 1791) means the National Guard (created by an Act of Congress in 1903)?

I would apply a scotch guard on it, to make it water repelling as possible. Stains will soak into that material, bird poop is a real bad one. by sealing it, you will prolong the look and the life. Gary

Can I take this thing to a regular carwash? Is there some special treatment that the roof needs? I'm kinda new to the ragtop and I wanna make sure I don't do anything stupid! Any other tips on keepin' my new cruiser lookin' nice would be appreciated!
You would take your brand new PT convert to a car wash?!!!!! [V] When the top and paint get screwed up from the car wash don't say you weren't warned. [xx(] Car washes with brushes will eventually destroy your paint and your top. At least take it to a touchless car wash.

Can't imagine taking a ragtop through a car wash but if it is one where you wash yourself then OK.

"You would take your brand new PT convert to a car wash?!!!!!"

That's why I'm asking! I've seen a few touch free car washes around... I'll definately look into the scotch guard!

I found a dealer that I could order one custom. I did not want the Turbo due to the cost of gas and I do a lot of driving. It came in two months just in time for the summer. But I ordered Cool Vanilla and found out that the dashboard insert does not match the exterior paint. Note that no one told me this and it was not stated anywhere that it would not match. I was disappointed about that.

I ordered the purple convertible on April 29th, the last day you could order the base model. I tried to find one but only found 2 a in 500 mile radius and they sold both of them before the promotional date which they weren't supposed to do. Now I have found several but they will still have to be ordered in from other dealers. I would really like a picture if you have it. midnightgraphics@netzero.com
