I would recommed using Raggtopp cleaner and Raggtopp protectant (cloth top) or Raggtopp Vinyl Protectant (vinyl top) OR 303 Top Cleaner and 303 High Tech Fabric Guard (fabric top) or 303 Aerospace Protectant (vinyl top). Can read some convertible top care tips here:
http://www.properautocare.com/besprodforco.html
Free samples of 303 here (look at right column):
http://www.303products.com/main.php
Can also e-mail or call 303 and request free samples.

Use the above products after hand washing your car with a good car wash product. The chemicals used in a touchless drive through car wash may be too harsh and may discolor your top as well as damage it.

Don't have a Chrysler contact, but you might want to introduce yourself to these people and ask your question on the forum.

http://ukcruisers.net/phpBB2/index.p...0c06ab868bc2c7

Thet are the UK Cruisers and all their cars are RHD. There's some Aussie's on the forum also along with a few from the mainland of Europe.

To clean a ragtop I would use a very mild soap (not detergent) and use just the suds and a very soft brush and lots of rinse water. I have about 14 years experience with my Mustang ragtop and this is the best system I have found for bird stuff to just dirt and grime. Oh yes I am on my second top for my 87 Mustang GT!

I don't have the info right here but the Prowler Club uses a product for their tops and say it works great. Send me a e-mail and I'll drop you the link.

I think I need to call BS on this one. C'mon, the original poster has made two posts to this forum, both in this thread. It's been almost 3 months and no update from him????? If it had happened to me I would have come back either a)gloating that I'd gotten the deal of the decade or b)seriously bummed that the dealership had discovered the mistake and taken the car back.

Take into consideration the fact that the dealer is going to pull the paperwork they have on the car as the deal is being done. Why would the salesman write down the VIN of the test drive car and then pull the wrong paperwork from the factory? And how many of us would spend 2 hours hammering out a deal without even driving the car first to know if we really wanted it?

They need a d B.S. flag like the SRT-4 forums for you Mike. []

I'm sure its possible to have someone mix-up the models, since the cruisers do look all alike. At least, the first time I was looking through PT's they all shared alot of things in common other than the rims and some subtle interior stuff.

However, I wonder if the dealer's finance department ever match the price to the car to check for the correct value before the car leaves the lot.....

Accounting for the mix up can be hard to catch, due to the numerous paperwork and lack of accounting staff on a dealership. An internal audit would probably catch the error, but I suspect that most dealerships only has like one accountant that's overloaded already with other stuff to do.

Now for the person that posted this post, I take option C) The person had some fears that the car might be repo'ed. This person might be the 90% of cruiser buyers that never visits a PT forums and just wanted insurance that the dealer doesn't take the car back or looking for answers if the dealer has any remedies to this situation.

That's a really smart looking car! I loved driving the convertible I rented in Orlando recently, though it didn't look half as good as yours.
