To further espouse that point, you can add the new composite manifold to an older GT and realize the bulk of that gain, about 8hp....

And strangely, the "turbo lite" stays at 180 HP, with metal or plastic intake...[:I]

Yes, that happens. Strange thing about electronics - If they're gonna fail, they usually do it in the first few hours - they call it "infant mortality".
You should be fine with a new engine computer.
I bought a new LDC TV - watching for about 20 minutes, and it blew. They sent me a new one, and I've had it three months now....

I'm actually pretty impressed with the "roll bar" capabilities, that was one of the main determining factors in purchasing the cruiser I have. However, anyone that blames their injury on a piece of metal not protecting them, needs to seriously rethink their position. I have a hard time believing anyone would, but then you do have those people who will sue for a burn on their leg if the coffee is hot.

I wouldn't say common, but I'm on a bunch of PT Forums, and have seen a few reports - it's usually the RKEM (Remote Keyless Entry Module) which is in the dash above the radio that goes bad.
