I bought an Air Force Air Filter for my base model PT.
It gives me a little more at 3000 rpms. I was wondering if I bring the car in to the dealership and they see this minor modification will it void my warranty? Thanks ahead for your response. Micah |

I had intakes on both my PTs - no problems.
Only possible problem could be if you complain of hard starting, or intake noise, they may balk - then put back the stock intake.

Really depends on the dealer and whether or not they are mod friendly. I've seen people have warranty refused on the tranny for just an intake or exhaust system. Ask your dealer how they feel about mods and if they are against them then find another dealer. Better to find out your dealer's feeling about mods because if they refuse you warranty work because of a mod, no matter how innocent it is, they will blackball you throughout the entire dealer network. Then you are up the creek on any warranty work. [xx(]

They cannot void your warranty. They would have to be suppling the air filter for you to use.
