2006 Convertible Suspension

Hey,

I am wondering if there was anything suspension related changed on the convertibles vs the regular PT Cruisers. More specifically - will shocks/springs from say a 2001 PT Cruiser fit on a 2006 Convertible? I have yet to see a set of aftermarket springs / shocks that specifically say they fit 05-07 Convertibles, which is why I ask. Honestly, I havent seen much of anything available for the newer PT Cruisers period... Makes me sometimes wish I would have kept my 2001...

Also - Will the strut tower bars fit all years? I am currently looking at the BGT Strut Tower Bar, and it says it fits 2000-2004, but I honestly see no change between the years, however any subtle difference could cause a major issue.

I have a '05 and am thankful. Maggie Anderson of Race & Street is most probably going to have your answer. I bought my Freedom Strut Tower Brace from her in 2005; talked to her on the phone first before ordering. Relocation of the soleoids on the RF strut tower must be done to accomodate the brace itself because of the Turbo engine.

I also have installed lowering springs and aftermarket struts/shocks. When ordering, there was no differentiation between the 4dr and the ragtop. But of course, it's not a 06 model.
