Default Aux input on radio

I have an '05 Dream Cruiser. Before I pull the dash I was wondering if the stereo has an auxiliary jack on the back. I want a direct connection for my XM radio and MP3 player. Thanks.

I don't know if this will work for your particular radio because you didn't specify what radio you have.

Try this link: USA Spec
when all is said and done..

Unless you radio is not stock, it does not have an input on the front for Aux. If that is the case then just turn on the radio and hit the function button. It will show, FM, AM, CD, XM then back to start ( order is probably diff. ) If no Aux shows up then you do not have an Aux input in the back.
2006 Touring, Inferno Red, Light gray interior, Pretty much stock for now.

Most 05 convertibles I have seen have the 6 disc in dash changer radio which has no aux input connector. I used a normal FM antenna modulator on mine and the sound quality is probably as good as the standard amps and speakers are capable of producing. To install an antenna modulator you will need two chrysler adapters. The system as fitted on mine works OK, just a bit weak for volume with the top down at highway speed, but if you are looking for something special, an aftermarket head unit is probably the first thing you will be shopping for in any case.

The problem is that the list of stereo's that could be installed is as long as my leg. Really it's going to be easiest to find the model number and touch base with a dealership. That or pull the center cover and check it out. It's not really all that difficult.

Harness for iPod hook up

You will see my link for the two items I ordered to hook up an iPod. The center jack may be used for an XM radio.
