....well perhaps my only mods so far.
![]() Last Friday, I had the OEM Mopar Ground Effects Package and OEM Mopar Spoiler put on to my '05 Black PT Cruiser Convertible, Touring Edition. As some of you may know this is a brand new car with less than 1600 miles on it. Here are a couple of shots from tonight as I only had my little P&S camara with me. I am very happy with the results, although I may remove the mud flaps as I think they do detract from the package a bit. What do you Cruisers all think? Go to the URL for more shots. I also mentioned that in the GE package there was a set of spears that were basically flat, in the end I decided to keep the original spears. I do have this spare set, so if anybody is interested let me know. Regards Terry Regina Photo Club :: My Toy ![]() ![]() |

Sweet!!!! Total eye candy!! What all came with the ground effects? I notice the sides, but does it include the front & rear too? Did you install it yourself? I have a 06 Touring and I've been looking into doing this myself I hope with-in the next year. I love the pic with the flowers. Looks like a post card.

Thanks for the compliment, I have gotten many comments on it both online and out on the street. It is the only one around here so I get lots of inquiries about it.
It was a sort of convuluted purchase of the kit, but if you were to purchase it would be about $1100 CDN. and the spoiler was about $350 CDN. I know that at the time our Canadian dollar wasn't where it's at now against the American dollar, so it may be tough to give you an accurate amount. I do have the part number if you wish. Regards Terry

The ground effects kit came with both of the side panels, both of the front and both of the back pieces, along with a set of flatter "shaved" side spears. In the end I decided to leave the existing side spears so I have this extra set if anybody wants them. They are black. The spoiler was a separate order. Both items came in black to match the car and matched great. I was going to install it myself but in the end I got a body shop to do it. Quote:
Yeah it does kinda look like a post card. That was only taken on a small P&S camera. Some of the other ones in my gallery were taken with better gear. On another note, I went to get my new wheels and tires yesterday. The mounted 3 wheels on the car and it looked great, went to put the 4th one on and the supplier had sent the wrong bolt patterned wheel. So disappointing, had the car already to shoot some photos. I ended up going with 225/50/R16 tires mounted to some nice chrome 5 spoke 16x7 wheels. They looked great and fit very nicely into the wheel wells. Oh well, I should have them by Tuesday. Regards Terry
