How do you like the turbo so far? Everyone I have talked to love them - besides the mileage. That's not a huge deal to me, I only live 6 miles from the office, so I can afford a little more gas consumption. I am well used to buying 93 or better octane on my 944, so thats not a big deal to me either. Thanks, Matt

One of the BEST things about having a 2005 GT Convertible is the fact that you get 17x7" wheels...not the standard 'skinny' 17x6" wheels that are on all the other GTs no matter if it's convertible or sedan.
2005 GT Convertible was the ONLY time Chrysler gave us 7 inch wide wheels. The 2005 GT Sedan had the 6 inch wide wheels. And then in 2006 & 2007 they absolutely did the dumbest thing in the world to the GTs when they put the 15 spoke plastic overlay wheels on it. Convertibles and Sedans. Sorry but no GT should have a 15 spoke wheel. GTs of any car brand have always been 5 spoke of some sort.

Thanks Terry & guys for all the comparisons on the convertible. That helped me make my decision, Matt.
I just drove back from California. Got a 2006 black GT vert, HO turbo, tan top & leather interior. It had 8,000 babied miles on it; but was in mint condition! Paid $17,500 on e-bay! ![]() PT Cruiser World |
