Rear seat removal in a convertible?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has instructions for removing the rear seats in a PT Cruiser Converible (2005).

I'd like to put some sort of large cargo box in place of the rear seats and reseal the partition to the trunk.

I was wondering if you ever found the answer to this question? Is there a simple way to remove these seats? I would like to be able to remove them for cargo space and also, be able to put them back in when not using the space.

Any ideas anyone?

Nothing in owner's manual?
If they aren't meant to be easily removed, flip them forward and look for bolts to remove.

there is nothing in the owners manual about removing the rear seats...but, I figured that it would be a popular modification -- The ones in the cabin cruiser come out -- why would'nt the ones in the convertible?!?

If anyone has and further input, it would be appreciated.

You can take them out, but you have to unbolt the hinges at the front of each seat, I had thought about making a quick release hinge pin setup but have not done it yet.
