Hello to everyone and I hope I am doing this right - I actually have a question rather than comment on 2008 PT Cruiser Convertibles :-)

I have a 2005 convertible whose lease is up in July 2008. I have been doing some basic searches on the net and it seems that there are NO convertibles at dealers within 1500 miles of Akron Ohio. I was not looking for any specific color or options, just a convertible, period. Does this mean my chances of getting another in July is zero? I got a postcard and a call from a dealer in December about early lease termination options, but when I talked to them, they didn't have anything on the convertible - and they knew what I had as it was specified on the postcard!!!

All I can say is that I really hope all of you who ordered a convertible are able to get them, I love my 06, I seriously woke up one day and decided to buy one because I loved how different they are...All convertibles look the same, except the PT Cruiser...That's why I love it.

I hope you all get yours soon.

PS- Windancer..Your Black Convert. is beautiful, I love that lip kit, too bad I have yet to see one for the 06's and up...

Thank you very much for the compliment, I really like it. I bought it new in May '07 and so far only put 4000 miles on it. I am very happy with the Mopar Ground Effects Kit and the Mopar rear spoiler. There was a huge difference in handling once I put the new tires and wheels on it. Now I'm just dressing up the interior a bit.

Hi I just got my 2008 PT Cruiser Convertible and need a boot. Dealer said they no longer come with a boot as they had a problem with the plastic mfg. that makes them. Can anyone help me to locate either a black or gray boot to really finish off the COOL lines of my PT. I can't locate any. This is my second cruiser I also have a 2001 limited I just love that RETRO Style.
