Default I did it!

Well folks I did it!

I purchased my first PT, a flawless base '05 vert in black with 26K.

Unfortunately we will be getting 14+ inches of snow today! So I don't think that I will be getting to do much "cruising" today.

I'll be in touch as the weather clears and I get some time behind the wheel.

Congrats, you will love it. I have a Touring Edition with only 4000 miles on it, yes you read that right, only 4000 miles.

Thanx for all the responses!

It's been a few days and I must say that I'm impressed with the PT"s
Ability to deal with cold climates. The heater rocks, overall road manors are great even in snow and the mileage on my first tank wasn't bad at all. 23.6 mpg

I will be looking to add additional lighting. What are your thoughts as to the OEM fog lights vs. after market lights. I travel a lot in the predawn hours and am more concerned with spotting deer than cutting through fog.

Thanks Rich, yes I was very happy with the looks of the car once I put the spoiler and ground effects on the car. See my gallery for more photos.http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/galler...00/ppuser/4645

I'm trying to decide whether to put some more chrome on it or not. I had thought about the port holes, wheel well openings, front and rear bumper inserts etc. Just not sure yet, will think about it over the winter.

Regards
Terry

Hey Terry,
Decesions Decesions LOL I believe the chrome adds so much more to the car. I added some and it brought it out alot. My favorite is the belt line and chrome grill. I am adding the wheel well covers (Bob ) tells me the ones to get are the ones which use the 3m tape. I am also saving for the chrome trim that goes over the black trim by the doors. So many mods not enough money!! lol
take care
Rich
