Has anyone had the Headliner coming away from back window?
I just noticed that on the back window the headliner came off the lip that runs around the back window....looks like it was glued in 2 spots & has almost completely released .......I will bring it in to the dealer for a fix.... Thanks Larry

Well all ....it is still not fixed .......Chrysler stinks!
I ordered the parts in March as per the tsb......& they finally came in a week ago 7/18/08 with all sorts of excuses.....They called me to pick up the car & low & behold the headliner was still hanging off the rear window.....they now say they can not fix it.....the headliner shrunk???? They are sending it to a modification shop who does convertible tops to repair it....meanwhile they gave me a 2008 Town & Country Soccer MOM minivan....that is getting 14 MPG if I put the air on ....12 MPG..... I can't wait til this is over....and return to Toyota....how are we suppose to support "Made in America" when they can't fix the car they build? At least my Chevy HHR is working 100% .....other than oil has never needed Chevy repair.

Well I finally got back my PT Vert.....dealer had it for 1 month.....the TSB with the clips did not work.....they did it twice ......& the headliner still popped off the back window.....they replaced it with a new headliner...BUT They could not do it....they had no one in the service dept that knew had to replace this...they sent the car to a customizing shop ....one who specialized in tops........Can you beleive they could not fix their own car? Also, someone in the shop took a $450.00 tripod out of my trunk .....& of course they are not responsible for items left in the car.....Gee does that mean we can go & steal someone's property & "we are not responsible"......
SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE SOLARA!

Take the Toyota to the dealer with the same tripod and leave it for a month. Bet it won't be there when you pick it up. It's not limited to your Chrysler dealer. sorry, but common sense says to leave nothing valuable in the car when dropping it off for more than a day.
I'm with the Sheriff's office and most petty crimes and some grand theft's are crimes of opportunity. Your PT was probably sitting in the corner somewhere with the keys in the ignition, heck even the clean-up crew had access, and don't forget they sent it out to be fixed so the tripod cold have gone missing from there and not the dealership. Sorry about your headliner. That is sad when they don't have the expertise on-hand to fix your problem.
