Default Shiny things

This week, I got some shiny objects to put on my shiny object! I'll be attaching them this weekend.

Got some beltline chrome trim, chrome door handle guards, antenna bezel, and chromed steel bumper covers. I'm waiting for the billet grill, which should be here shortly as well.

I ordered up some rims and tires but they're still 6 wks away.

Badger, welcome to the "mod" club. There's no stopping now. Be sure you get some help or if your good, at least take your time with the belt-line chrome trim in order to get it on straight.

I just saw a PT yesterday that looked like the owner let his 5 year old son put a chrome strip around his PT. I don't think there was one yard that was perfectly straight. But then again, maybe he wanted a wavy line around his car.

Rear Before and after. I don't have the front grill so other shots will have to wait.

Thanks, C-man! I peeled off the badging today (not the Chrysler stuff, that looks good, but the PT Cruiser on the doors and the Touring Edition on the trunk), and it looks HAWT. I can't wait for the grill to arrive so I can complete the look.

Pawpawdiv9, nice work! What kind of rims did you go for? I'm waiting for rims too. Wanted the Cragar SS's for the classic rod look, but they don't make 'em for FWD vehicles, so i went with something very similar looking from American Racing.

On another note, exhaust systems..... how much benefit does one get to change out the header, and piping to one of the aftermarket options? I've already messed with the air box and filter (k&n and removed baffles) and I'll get to the plugs/wires in a bit. So, the last step is the exhaust. Is it really a benefit to go with a Catback or similar with regard to power increase/fuel economy? I do like the dual exhaust symmetry idea.
