The 04s and 05s dont have the ugly bumpers--we have nice body color bumpers!

Oh, and let's not forget the nice, WIDE, conventional armrest on the 06+. Those little, paper thin, seat mounted bits would drive me bonkers.
About the only thing I'd say was better about 00-05 is the under seat storage bin option. But I used the under seat room for amps and processors, so wouldn't matter to me anyways. |

I think the inside of the 06--> looks cheap. It's plasticky and the material has a fire retardant feel to it. The wheels are totally NOT as nice as what comes on the 01s--05 Touring and above models. No chrome wheels at all. No door spears, no lower front air dam... it has a stripped down look to it all, so I find it funny that you think it is more of a "luxury car type". Um, none of the PTs will ever be mistaken for luxury cars!

The inside's not .... but when I look at the outside, I feel like I'm ballin.
Then again, I've put like $3,000 worth of stuff into the exterior upgrades. |

having an 07 I love the blended looks of the bumber and the armrest, how ever the original PT look is still "Classic"!

I did a little report about the PT on a blog of mine ptcruiserweekly.com
I noticed that the older the model 01-07 the prices got lower. I believe this goes back to the increase in cost of things at later dates. I remember when I was in high school how Toyota Camry's were 25k+-30k, you can pick them up all day now for about 20k loaded like 25k, at least from the ads I've seen. Seems the car market has soo much overhead hidden in the cost that they can lower it a lot more based on the prices of everything else. Back then milk was like a dollar something too, now its about as much as a gallon of gas.
