There are no pillar pods for the convertible, I searched every vendor I could find. I went through 4 universal type pods before I found one that could be molded (with a heat gun and then painted to match), and made to fit the convertible and not look like crap.

As others have mentioned, there isn't one, in case you don't know the 'Verts windshield is an 1" shorter and not as curved as the regular PT's so the pillars are different. I think that I read somewhere that 57% of the convertible is unique to the car, so you have to be very careful of the parts you order.

Hi, it is a heaver gauge plastic than most and can by shaped and molded with a good heat gun, it is a universal gauge pod Sunpro by Actron Manufacturing Co.. I bought it from JC Whitney, molded it and painted to match with Mopar interior spray paint, it is also bigger in the gauge area than any of the others and I did not have to cut or drill the 2" holes in the factory panel like you have to do for some others, only the 4 screw holes. I did have to use a drum sander in my cordless drill to enlarge the holes to fit the three Aeroforce Scangauges.

Did you have to remove the factory pillar to install? If so, how do you remove the factory pillar?

Not to install the pod, but yes to run the wires down at the end of the dash by the door, it is not to bad, just pull the driver's sun visor,(2 screws), both visor retainer end clips,(1 screw each), pop the center trim above the mirror, then pop out the "A" pillar.
