Compatible Seats

I have a 2005 Turbo Lite Touring Convertible. I am looking to either replace my seats with leather seats or get a leather seat cover kit. I do sometimes see leather seats from other PTs on sale on ebay at decent prices. Will the seats from other PTs fit the convertible? If so, what years? From what I've been able to figure out so far, it looks like the 2006-2008 seats don't fit.

I live a mile or two south of the San Francisco bay. It's only hot here like three weeks out of the year.

My wife has the leather seats in her 2006 GT hard top and I had them in my '97 Sebring. Leather Seats and navigation were the only factory options my car didn't come with. I don't care about the nav system, but I miss leather seats. And if I could find heated leather seats for the car, I could drive it with the top down all year.

Talked to a fellow cruiser today at a M&G. He had his cloth recovered to leather by a local company with custom colors and theme logo ($1,200).
Boy! Looked great!
I would suggest trying to find a local shop to recover the seats.

I know I am digging this up from the grave but I have an 05 GT with leather that I want to get cloth seats for. PM me if you are still around.
