Default Hello and Intro

I don't have a picture to share anywhere since I haven't yet had any good photo opportunties, but I'm the proud (and fretful) new owner of an '07 Touring Edition Convertible in the lovely shade of Pastel Yellow, which I liken to banana pudding. It's got a black top and rather darkly tinted windows, which make it look extra sharp.

I had wanted a convertible ever since I was teenager. A few years ago I told myself I could have one for my 30th birthday present to myself but then decided earlier this year that I needed to be more responsible with my money. Of course then I got into a car accident and my old Pontiac was totalled on the day before my 30th birthday.

A week later I found an online listing for the car that I did not think I could even hope to find--the yellow convertible, of course. I was going to settle for blue before that. So I had to drive 100 miles, but it's a year old with 9000 miles and was a great deal. So here I am.

This is the biggest commitment that I've ever made to a car and it worries me endlessly, but my heart feels lighter every time I see sitting there, so happily yellow.

Actually that picture doesn't begin to do the lovely pastel yellow color justice.
