If I remember correctly, it takes time for the new computer variables to be taken into account when coming to market with the new stage. I takes about a year to 18 months before the Stage 1 will be available for the 08 models.

That might have changed but that's what I read somewhere.

'vert PTs are really cheap now.

I would try to find a NEWER model '06 or '07 with less miles. And...get a GT. Worth more in the long run. More rare, more goodies (rear disk brakes, traction control, provisions I think for rear sway bar, etc.).

Check e-bay...that gives you an idea for the market for these cars.

I was very happy to get my Touring for under $15k with under 15k miles on the clock. I think mileage in the middle 20s puts a lot of people off on the car since most expect better from a 4cyl...but with mine the bargain was too good to pass up.

I hope to be able to add a Stage 1 to mine sometime soon. I just hope with this whole GM/ Chrysler thing in the works that they dont become impossible to find.
