Default back here again

Hello all

I had registered here on the board about ayear or so ago when I was info gathering on my hunt for a convertible. I see a lot of familiar screen names from the now defunct PTCC board...I was "PTrunner" over there.
Last January I purchased a 2004 Sebring vert and immediately went to work spicing it up...here's a pic

My "homage car" was the SunRunner as I added many RoadRunner touches to the car but alas the 2.7 V6 proved to be a tempermental animal and I finally gave in and set out to find a PT vert. I landed an 07 Touring model with 14k on the clock and my experience since has told me this should have been the first choice all along. Despite many thing I read and heard about such poor fuel mileage I have found there has been very little difference between what I was getting with my Sebring vs what I'm getting with the PT now since a few simple mods have been done. Here are some pics from our recent trip to Lancaster county PA to tour the covered bridges.

In just a couple of months I have put almost 5k miles on the car so to say I'm enjoying it is an understatement. Looking forward to few more mods and a lot more fun miles

Great to be back as an owner instead of a shopper...even my wife has commented about how much more pleased I seem to be with the PT over the Sebring...and thats saying something since she has about zero interest in cars altogether.

I think the biggest fun has been when I have taken my Mom places with it. She has a inferno red 2001 PT that she loves dearly but she smiles big and giggles like a kid when I kick the happy pedal...and thats just great to see a 74 year old woman having that much fun.
