Convertible possibility?

I was driving the family home from California a few days ago in our GMC van, good view of car tops... When passing a Mini Cooper convertible I was amazed to see that it had a top where just the front quarter or so was folded back upon the back half of the top. Or rolled back or something... It looked like a cool option, sort of like having a sunroof, for when it may not be optimal convertible weather but you'd still like that open air feeling. Anyway, is this some option that a convertible top shop would do or is it just something Mini does? I'd really like to have a top like this on my PT!

That is the way mini comes from the factory.

have you all seen the mini with he double doors on the back ok that is way cool looking

That's what I was afraid of, I would imagine that it would involve some serious restructuring to modify a PT to do the same. Still, I'd like to take a close look at the Mini's top and see exactly how they make this happen.

My jk wrangler does the same also. Protects the kids from the sun.
