Hey Everyone,
I'm still old school to my days of Truck Driving, and still carry my trusty old map which is great for getting you to the city you want to go, but boy, I can sure say it would have been nice to have a GPS to get to the exact location! As a result, I have the pleasure of saying I have been completely lost in every major City in the US! I hear Megellan, Tom Tom, and Garmin are about the best, and easiest to use! Best of luck, and let us know what you wind up with! Candyman

I never thought I would ever need a GPS. I didn’t even like asking gas station attendants for directions. But now that I have them, I don’t know how I ever got along without them. I used to be a MapQuest junky, but now I seldom ever use the service. I have 2 Garmin 660. One is in the PT and the other in my BMW. They are outstanding with the best maps out there. Mine has a devise on it that gives me traffic bottle necks on the road and suggests alternate routes. That is very handy. It plays MP3 that I can download off my computers or put on via a SD card preloaded. It is Bluetooth compatible and links with my cell phones. It has all hands free functions of any cell phone and makes calling and receiving a breeze. There are many more features that you can look up on the Internet. It has a larger than normal display and can be connected to an auxiliary port so that the audio can be played via the cars audio system. The quality of phone audio is better than the native cell phone. Garmin has provided me with free updates over the year I have had them
![]() Even if you do not now want all the features a GPS like this has it is nice to have them just in case. I got it off the Internet for far less than I could buy a cheaper one in stores. As I remember I paid about $270.00 for each. If you get one, any brand, get a ProClip to mount it in your car. Makes placement flexible and not prone to the problems with the stock suction cup. Suction cup shadows when removed can be spotted easily and cars are being ripped apart looking for the device.
