Seriously smoked an HHR this morning

I was first in line sitting in the left lane at a stoplight this morning, and suddenly realized I had to be in the far right lane to get onto an entrance ramp in about 50 yards.

No problem. Turbo vert, right?

Well, the HHR in the right lane had a different idea. He wasn't going to let anyone in front of him!

So, after a second of two of playing around, I punched it - he punched it.

Needless to say, he was looking at PT taillights as we merged onto the ramp . He wasn't happy about it either! Stayed on my tail all the way onto the highway, then tried to merge around me and cut me off. A quick kickdown took care of his ambitions - again, looking at PT taillights. I then moved over to hammer lane and he went on his non-merry way. Funny thing is, I never had to go more than 5 over the speed limit - that PT is just that quick!!!

Why not let the HHR go and pull in behind him so you can move over safely to the entrance ramp?

Sorry, just the cop in me thinking how it should have been done the right way.

Oh, Crewzin..I know...I know, but haven't you ever thought just once, or twice about bringing out the Bad Boy in ya? Pull the Vette up along some little punk in a Ricer that looked like this???...and drives something like this, an just let him have it??? LOL

Not that I condone it, but I could see it happening...someday...maybe!

im almost 100% sure some of the folks on here will find you, and take away your guy card, your cop card, ( the vet is already gone) and probably choke you till you are turning blue------- then make you drive a YUGO for the rest of your life

have to admit I am still a spoiled brat at time and YES i would so love to have a PT with a 5.7 hemi in the back,
with dark windows and let a little cooper pull up and have the guy look at me like you don't deserve the right to be sitting that close to me the let the light turn greena dn let him get a head start--then just smoke pass him like the dog he is--ok sorry Ill go to my room now

The ones that really make me mad are the drivers that come up beside me on the Interstate with no one behind me and then just have to cut in front of me and then slam on their brakes so they can make the off ramp. You can't leave a safe distance between yourself and the car in front of you because if you do, you'll have two dozen vehicles that will pull right in front of you.
