why is the turbo so quiet on the GT vert?

I test drove a 2005 GT convertible today and compared to my 2006 GT coupe the turbo sounded really quiet. Is this normal or is the vert just not boosting? If it is normal I'll be picking it up tomorrow, im sure i can bring out the sound of the turbo when i swap a cai and exhaust.

Its normal, they are quiet cars, turbo makes them quiet. I thought something was wrong with my mom's stock turbo lite, until I changed out the air filter and gutted the stock airbox. I could hear it growl a little bit more. But compared to my GT(w/catback exhaust and other goodies) its still the quiet one.

Oh don't forget to take out the insulation under the manifold cover, it really hides the sound of air swishing through the manifold.
