My personal thanks to veteran and novice crewbies that have offered information and how-to's they have been instrumental in taking LiquidPT from modded car to stock to live a more quiet and sedate life.

well this was our daughter's first car, we bought it with 130k miles, she drove it ,got in a finder bender , now has 180k and we couldn't give it away. So I decided to use it for a project car to practice welding/painting. plus thought it might be fun to have a mini panel.

antifreeze started to disappear and it over heated. so we tried to find the leak. no luck, so replaced the water pump, timing belt, head gasket. the inside looked good so we'l see if it goes an other 180k.

I discovered that when I pulled the battery cables then replaced, wow a considerable increase in power. and that was before I read anything about that, so it was NOT a fignewton of my imagination. the engine runs really strong. 5 speed.

hope to get the paint on in the next couple weeks, you WILL see it coming.

cheers, wayne
