Hello all, I now feel like I am home.
Hello all, my wife and I were in the market for a small inexpensive American car. We took about an hours ride to Randolph, New Jersey, to a Chrysler, Chevy dealer, we really like to look and ride of the PT Cruiser. The dealer only had 2 used one's that fit into our price range, but they weren't the age we were looking for, just as we were pulling out of the dealership I see the salesman running after us to show us one more car which was a little more expensive but what the heck. When I saw it, it was love at first sight, I had to have it. The ride home was unlike anything I have ever experienced, it was my first ride in a drop top, you see so much more with no roof over your head. Well thats my story, and I hope you guys don't mind but I will be asking lots of questions because I'm not to smart about cars but I will be asking about wheels and such. Thanks for having me guys.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you found a cruiser that you like. We are here to help when you have your questions.
The line of code you have at the bottom of you rpost looks like you tried to add a photo from your desktop to the forum. That doesn't work. Any photo you'd like to add to the forum must already be on the internet somewhere, nt on your home computer. There are free sites like : Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket that let you post pictures and then you can transfer them to the forum.

I've thought about a convertible a few times. Maybe when I figure out how to mount my lights and roof mounted UHF antenna so that neither looks crappy and will be functional, maybe then I'll think about it.
Same thought process in manual trans versus auto. I haven't figured out yet how to have one hand on the steering wheel, another on the shifter and a third one on the mobile radio's mic. So for now a convertible and manual transmission is not an option

Welcome, I just got my PT not that long ago and I must say they seem to get a lot of negative attention but I think there all wrong I love my PT. For what it is I think its a amazing car.
