Convertible roll bar speakers??

I have a 2005 GT vert and wanted to know if anyone can tell me if a speaker kit exists to mount audio speakers to the roll bar. I have the stock am-fm-cd-nav radio and speaker set up now. I like the sound but with the top down at 70 mph, you have to crank the volume to hear the tunes. I'm sure the factory audio system isnt designed to handle 3/4 power or more for very long without blowing up a speaker. If a kit is out there, please let me know where to find info on them or what your experience with them are.

I've been on several forum for over 3 years now...
Never heard of such a mod. Sounds like a "Do-It-Yourself" mod to me.
While you are there put an LED 3rd brakelight in the back of the rollbar too!

My rear spoiler almost covers mine.

its a comon problem with any convertible car sadly
other thing is just fit some upgrade speakers in the front and ignore the poor rear sound

I put some 1" speakers in my roll bar and it helps the sound. There was a "how to do it" article on one of the PT Cruiser sites at one time, but it's been over a year ago that I looked it up. I don't know if it's still available or if someone else on the forum can help. I didn't install them myself. I'm 57 and don't move around in the back seat as good as I used to, so I had someone else do the installation.

Be sure to aim the speaker "down". Otherwise the birds will "complain like shit"!!!!
