If you had followed the link, you would see that they come painted for that price. The color choices are Black, Silver and Red. Of course Red is the most expensive. I need some chrome 1st. Not much BUT some.

Couple of items you can find pretty cheap at Race and Street that would look great on your car -

PT Cruiser Door Cups - Convertible 3 Piece : Race and Street

or maybe some beltline trim -

PT Cruiser Curb Strips - Convertible (5pc): Race and Street

I'm thinking about the door spear trim and the door and deck lid cups. Not sure I like the beltline trim or the high chrome curb trim.

My next purchase is a K&N drop in Air Filter.

Mine blew off as well.
Never did find it.
Bought another one but have not used it yet; I do not think the fixings are strong enough.

I don't use a top boot because I dont own one. Even if I did have it I would not use it. Too much of a hassle.

My PT did not come with a boot because I bought it used. I found one on Ebay that was brand new still in the sealed bag.

The owners manual shows exactly how it should be installed and I've not had any trouble with it even looking like it was going to blow off. (Up to 75 MPH.)

I have found that if I'm going to have a short topless drive I don't bother with it but if I'm going to drive most of the day I'll put it on. Takes about 3 minutes including getting it out of the trunk.

yeah but 99% of my driving is city. meaning short rides. and if i do long trips its top up because my family and gf hate going topless something about the sun heat and hair. So I cant justify the cost of the boot for the little use it will have.
