window roll-down module for converts
Hi,
I'm banging my head against the wall trying to get this stupid thing right.
I'm tryin to install a 4-window rolldown module on my 07 PT convertible, trouble is I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it right so the door trigger/top triggers work correctly to roll the windows down OEM style (cracked open for door open or closing top, full open for opening top).
I'm wondering if anyone has found a solution. At this point I think a hardware solution is probably the best bet but I don't know what that is. I could wire up an IC for it but that's a month I'd rather spend doing something else.
PS I have two dual-stage microwave sensors installed- one in the sports bar, one in the center console- and this config seems to work best when compared to one sensor in either place or both in either place or any other combination/location. I spent waaaay too many hours testing this theory. The reasoning is that the microwave sensors are directional to some extent, and this layout gives the best coverage for the interior AND exterior of the vehicle, especially with the top down. "Step Away From the PT." hehe
