Hey all,
Just changed my brake pads and rotors using the great info I received on this forum. Have a 2005 Silver GT Convertible with high output 2.4L turbo engine. Now I'm trying to change the PCV valve, but don't know where it's located. I'm thinking it's on the passenger side next to the oil filler cap and connected to a tube to the air intake. Anyone done this yet, and know where the PCV valve is located? Thanks again!

I'd go with a check valve for your turbo car because the pcv valve can leak and cause a boost leak.

Thanks again to everyone who replied for the great info. VNT, it's right where I thought it was, just as you stated, behind the oil cap, for a 05 GT turbo engine.

Check valve? Can you explain this?

Stops a built in boost leak in the PT turbo. Go here for proper location PTCrew.com - Learn it or Burn it. It goes between the pcv valve and the intake manifold. The setup on my SRT-4 is a bit different because of the different intake manifold. PT-Performance.com

Sorry to revive this post, but isn't the PCV valve located more on the passenger's side on a 2005 GT Turbo?
I have made a catch can according to info at PTCrew, should this be placed with arrow from pcv valve to throttle body and also a check valve after the catch can?

Arrow away from valve cover toward intake, check valve anywhere in series.

Thanks Quicksilverdon, now, why do some say PCV is located on pass side, and some say closer to driver's side? Isn't it near the oil fill cap on valve cover? Or are there 2 of them?
