All,
Have a 2005 GT convertible with high output Turbo with 52,000 miles, and yesterday I heard a sort of grinding noise when I made a sharp right turn, but making a left turn is still quiet and no problem. Would this be a wheel bearing problem, or something else? If so, where would be the best place to have this replaced? And should I have both sides replaced, or can I just have one done at a time?Les Schaub, OEM, etc? Thanks again! |

I have 215 45R 17 tires. But I found out what was making the noise; it was a hub at the bottom of my steering column that was rubbing. Also one of my front strut bars was wearing out. Wasn't a wheel bearing at all, and the dealer said everything else looks fine. The dealer fixed both since I have an extended warranty, so nothing came out of my pocket and all is well.
