2006 Touring convertible price

Hello, my wife and I are new members to the Forum. We are looking at a 2006 Touring convertible with 31K miles. It has the leather package but not the turbo engine. We can get this one for just over 10K $. It runs very well and appears to be well cared for ( 1 owner according to Car Fax ). I was wondering how this price compares to any recently purchased '06's out there.

When I was looking for mine in August that sounds about right for 30K. I paid more than that for mine but it was a one owner with only 4400 miles on the clock.

It's a NA 2006 Touring Model with cloth seats. I love it!

We bought a 06 Conv with the HO Turbo with 24k in April of 09 for $14.000. I don't know how much a HO turbo would add to the Price of one, But it sounds like you are getting yours for a good price.

Sorry ! Our anniversary is on Valentine's Day...so one gift covers both days. I think she wanted that day so I would always remember

Our anniversary is on Halloween?? So I could remember?? 50+ years and counting.

I paid 9K last August for my '05 TE Turbo with cloth seats. It had 43K miles on the clock.

Sounds like a decent deal to me.

The price of the car will depend on if it's purcahsed retail (from a dealer or lot of some sort) or in a private sale (sold by an individual). Private sale values are uaully lower and are going to be close to what the trade in value of the vehicle would run.

I looked this up on New Cars, Used Cars, Blue Book Values & Car Prices - Kelley Blue Book and the private price should be around $8400 and retail is listed at $12,600.

It was from a dealer, so that puts our price halfway between retail and trade in. The car is in really nice shape so I don't feel too bad about the price we paid. One PT Cruiser convertible....... $ 10k.......the smile on my wife's face driving the car home, and the knowledge that now I can buy the Harley I've always wanted.....priceless.
