Default What a difference a year makes!

My PT is coming up on a year's ownership in a couple weeks and it's been interesting to see the changes in the car in a year.

Not so dramatic. Chrome washer nozzles and a 1950's Chrysler lower grille emblem.

Top Boot, Sleigh Tag, Chrome exhaust tip, North Pole sticker, Chrome trunk cup and my website.

Under the hood. Modesty cover and striped intake.

The most differences shown. Chrome gas door, chrome door spears, chrome door cups, chrome antenna bezel.

Subtle changes and not really a lot spent. But what a difference!

Don't we just love to take pics of our cars?

Looks great! Doesn't take much to give it a whole new look!

What did you use to paint the intake thingy? I tried painting mine with a paint brush and its not looking too good

George, I used a paint pen that I bought from a craft store. It let me place the edge of the pen against the side of the ridge and kept the line even. Sort of.

Paint pen probably would have been a better idea. I realise now that my hands are not as steady as they used to be!!!! What it looks like so far. Needs a couple more coats to bring the intake up a bit brighter.

Sooner,

That's it and unless I can find some lower grille surrounds, not mesh grilles, that will probably about do it. Believe it or not I am a subtle guy preferring small accents to a lot of chrome. Not to be critical of those that like massive amounts of chrome, it's just not for me.

I keep 150 reindeer under the modesty cover in the engine compartment.

A little off topic, Santa, but are you missing anyone ??? Saw this guy running down the street earlier on today.

Thumbs up Re: What a difference a year makes!

Santa, your cruiser is looking great! So far I have only put rear mud flaps on my vert. Am thinking of getting door and trunk cups soon but like you I think less is best. Been pretty busy here in Illinois so haven't posted pics of my vert yet but promise they are coming soon!!
