Default Anyone tried "Flex Seal" on canvas.....like a convertible top?

Hello all,

Just curious if anyone has tried "Flex Seal" or any similar spray on rubber sealer for their convertible canvas top?

It is black, flexible, doesn't drip in the heat, doesn't crack in the cold or so the manufacturer says.

I have a question in to the manufacturer but don't hold out hope on a speedy reply.

Let me know! Thank you.

I don't know about flex seal, do you have a leak? And yours is aftermarket so I'm not sure who made it. For cleaning and sealing mine I follow Candyman's sticky in the detail section. Detailing Your PT: Convertible Top Cleaning

Yes I do have some spots that seem to seep moisture. Mine is definantly after market and we have no idea who did it. My top looks and feels like some type of marine grade canvas.

I am thinking this product may work and just wanted to see if anyone had tried it.

Thank you.

If your looking to restore the water repellency to your top, use Formula 303 at Autogeek.

You spray the top twice a year with it. Might want to clean it first with their cleaner.

Convertible Top Care Products. 303 convertible top care and Wolfsteins Raggtopp Products

Oh your top is a canvast called Twillfast, all the top Euro car makers spec it.
