Default Radio aerial: not going in?

Hi, we have a new-to-us PT convertible. I was trying to put the cover on it last night and noticed that the radio aerial doesn't go down. We're not sure if we just didn't notice this before, or if they don't go down, or if we have done something to stop it going down. But if they don't go down how do you go through a car wash (although we don't, one would think that it might make sense for them to go down).

Excuse dumb question: any advice appreciated.

Default Rag top on windscreen

Ok, so the Ragtop bottle tells you not to spray it on the windscreen. But I thought I didn't, couldn't see anything on the glass. However the night I sprayed it it showed up - the whole thing covered in fine dots from mist. I have washed it with car window cleaner, polished it with a microfiber cloth and scrubbed it with a soft dishwashing brush: no avail, they're still there. Has anyone else been this stupd and if so, what did you do about it please?

I don't believe a power antenna was available on the PT Cruiser. The stock antenna is quite rugged and can withstand car washes well.

I have never seen a vert with a power antennae. However, it does unscrew pretty easily, and when we go thru a car wash, the guy usually unscrews it for us and hands it thru the window. Takes about 5 seconds.

If he doesn't do it. You can do it just as easily before the car heads into the wash.
