Default I did a Color Change on my Boot Cover

I've been searching since I bought my PT Cruiser for a dark slate grey top down boot cover at an affordable price. LOL! Then I decided to just bite the bullet and buy another prairie tan boot cover and do a color change on it. Here is the near end result, I will put a final coat on it tomorrow. I have a total of $78.00 in this cover including the spray dye and boot cover. What ya think?

Yes, I totally missed that fact. I guess I was out to lunch on that one. Last one I remember from WV was a guy by the name of porkchops that sold us some parts he didn't have.

Wish I could. Thank's for the invite there Chrome. Haven't got one of mine in the road. Haven't worked on it like I should lately. Although I have been riding on that belongs to the lot here. Got it ready to sale. Had so much fun driving it can't wait to finish the project. Just finished the turbo overhaul. Will post up tonight on that. Anyway enjoy, maybe kds66 can make it.

Thanks for the offer but I won't be able to make either. I've got plans this weekend.

Hey Cruiser!
What type of dye, and where did you get it?
If my new baby doesn't have a boot, I will do the same!

Years ago, I did the same on my wife's 88 Labaron convertible. It was also a light tan color. I got it off ebay and used an interior spray dye to change it to dark slate. Worked great.

I have used rattle can spray dye called SEM from CARQUEST
This works really well, done whole interiors on 'Cuda's, Charger's and other MOPAR's. Just make sure the part you want to dye is very clean. I used enamel reducer then wax and grease remover. Never had a problem and the results looked factory
