Default Copnvertible Top Cleaner

Hey guy's, I just purchased my Bride an 08 convertible and I'm looking for recommendations for a good cleaner/conditioner for the top. I have looked through the threads here and I was able to find a couple of endorsements for "Raggtopp" brand, but not much else. Their website says Sears carries it, but my local store does not and I really don't want to wait for delivery of an online purchase. Any other recommendations would be appreciated as well as retail availability. It'g going to be in the 70's this weekend and I would like to do it now if possible.

Thanks,

MOPAR-OR-NOCAR!

Thumbs up Re: Copnvertible Top Cleaner

Buy the Raggtopp kit (both cleaner and protectant) wherever you can find it the least expensive.
(Will be around $45) Endorsed by both Chrysler and Mustang groups!
I'm on my second kit with 2 convertibles.

Thanks frank, any suggestions for a retailer? I'm not finding a retailer that carries it online.

I go to Autogeek.net for all my detailing, they sell convertible top cleaners and preservatives and have some how to videos.

I like Formula 303 kits, cleaner and fabric preservative, they work great!

Thanks guy's, I misspoke. I meant I couldn't find a brick & mortar retailer online and after driving to every parts house in town with no luck, it looks like it's Amazon.com.

On the upside it's sunny and 70* out, a great day to drive around with the top down.

Yup!
Looked mine up.
Was on Amazon.com.....came from Palm Beach Motoring.
$35.90.

And they do make a separate kit for vinyl, versus the PT's fabric.

THE big culpert on cloth tops is not dirt but the UV sun damage. Its usually
packaged as a spray for cloth. I apply with circular strokes of a softer brush
as final detail.

Cool Re: Copnvertible Top Cleaner

For "Raggtop", the "protectant" spray is the second of the two bottle system.
And, it does have UV protectants in it!

How do you apply it? I used the spray without covering the windows and had a heck of a time getting that stuff off the windows!
Do I have to 'tape the car' like before a paint job?
