Disconnect the battery again, and when you reconnect it again, leave BOTH doors open.....Try it!

I've stumbled upon numerous posts about this.....My PT's a hardtop and even I know this info now, when I really don't need to!(other than helping others)

Default Re: power top and power windows

Come on guys, I am very grateful for your advise.

Especially when I actually had 15 minutes to mess with it today. I disconnected battery, opened both doors, let it sit for 10 minutes, kept doors open, reconnected battery.

As soon as negative battery connection was made, windows worked.

Thank you!!!

Talking Re: power top and power windows

Thanks for coming back with the report.
Some of the old masters here had heard of this before.
But me, a newbie from 2006, with a convertible has not heard it before.
Good to know it worked!

(Now, if I can just remember it....)
