Plugs and wires ever been changed?
Make sure engine fan works.
You might have an intake manifold leak.

Are you getting and check engine lights? I am in the process of getting mine fixed. We found that it is likely the lower intake manifold gasket on my car. I already replaced the upper before we confirmed the leak on the lower.

Is the engine light on?

You may want to try the "key trick" or "key dance" How to retrieve fault codes. and retrieve a code if there is one.

You then can post the code on here and we can further troubleshoot the problem.
