At the club meeting last Thursday, we where able to take a GT convert. out for a spin and check it out.
I was very suprised with the looks. I thought it looked very nice. The interior was really sharp. It was fun to drive a convert. Sadly I was actuall disapointed with the speed. I only got it up to 70 at a point before I had to slow down. It just didn't seem all that fast to me. I was running at normal temp and had been sitting for 10-15 before I took it out. I also didn't hear the turbo whine that much at full throttle, I would have thought it would be louder. However it did torque pull when it shifted in the 60's pretty hard, which was a very noticable indication. Now Im not so disapointted anymore in not getting a GT like I originally was. |
