Default Trailer hitch on 2005 Touring

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am shopping for a replacement to my 2005 Base convertible. Before the wrecker took it's remains to the State Farm office to be disposed of, I removed the trailer hitch I had installed last year (Rigid V5) in hopes of using it on the replacement PT.

I am looking at a 2005 Touring convertible, but to my eyes it seemed like the spare tire is sitting too close to the bumper to mount the hitch. Are my eyes deceiving me, or is the spare tire in a slightly different location on the Touring trim convertible?

Cool Re: Trailer hitch on 2005 Touring

My 2005 Dream Cruiser vert is in the shop for some painting.
I will look at it and post, if you don't get an answer by then....about a week.

I can't conceive of them being any different, unless one of them is a GT or something with bigger wheels. Even then, the donut spare should be the same size.
