Default Cleaning convert. top??

We just purchased a 2007 convertible with only 31,000 miles on it, got it home and want to clean the top without causing any damage to the fabric.
Looking for suggestions, guidance, etc. that would help in doing it properly.
The top is black. Thanks much for any help.

I use a very soft brush ( a back brush you would use in the shower) with a long handle, and car soap. Make sure to do it in the shade and use plenty of water.

go to autogeek.com

Look at their section on convertible tops.

I use Formula 303 cleaner and protectants.

As mention a soft bristle brush should be used to apply any cleaner and or when washing. I have one just for this sole purpose.

I treat each twice a year to keep up with the water repellancy.
