Default Removal of back seat to find hydraulics for top

Convertible top not functioning, determined problem is hydraulics, repair cost quoted by dealer at $3k+. Since 2003 value isn't much more than that, we're attempting to do the fix by accessing the tank, drilling and filling per a forum discussion here. Unable to figure out how to remove back seat to access tank. Help?

Hi, have you tried the...disconnecting the battery trick??

I read it in the forums somewhere...

My problem was the driver's window not going up...
turned out it was the switch, new switch...problem gone...

BUT while researching the possible fixes for the window,
someone said to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or
so to allow the current to discharge so the windows would
reprogram them selves to go up correctly...AND they added
that this is also a fix for convertible tops too...

AND the 2005 dream cruiser I recently purchased had had
the top motor disconnected by the dealer...to expensive to
replace...and he was dropping the top by hand...he had
disconnected the top from the motor....

Why all this background??? Because when I tried to fix
the window motor with the battery trick, it FIXED the
convertible top...it now cycles...now I have to get in there
to attach the top to the motor....so I am also curious as
to how to get in there...

Good luck
