Default Pinstriping?

Was any year Convert available from the factory with pinstriping? If so, where did they start the striping on the hood?

IMO i'd start it 3/8" or so off/under the wing tips and trim it to match their angle.

i always go panel by panel so i can wrap it around the edges. it takes longer, but helps reduce chances of peeling and looks more finished than just running end to end and slicing it in the door seams.

maybe contact a sign shop. i think last time i charged around $100 to remove and restripe a car with silver 12 year durable vinyl. i recommend staying away from the parts store stuff as it's likely 6 year "fleet vehicle" vinyl at best.
